French Food, Hurt Wrists & Money in the Bank

After a few days of no blogging, I finally realized KliniK would catch on if I didn't update eventually. So..I'll talk about my day, I guess. Today the family had to get up early to take my cousin to the airport in Atlanta. We decided while we were in the city, we'd go to Atmosphere, the restaurant we were supposed to go to for my birthday back in January. Atmosphere is this really awesome French bistro that serves the best French food you can find in America.

We came back home and I decided I should go ahead and work out so I'd have time to eat before going to see Money in the Bank. I've been working out for a little over a month now, and today was supposed to be the day that I upped the amount of weight I was lifting. That turned out to be a bit of a mistake. My wrists have been hurting me for some time now, and after lifting heavier weight than I was used to, they were just killing me. I'm not sure if I have carpal tunnel, tendonitis or just soreness but what I am sure of is that I should probably take a few days off and see if they feel any better. I'd hate to wind up like Rhetoric.

I went to Hardee's because they have some amazing chicken tenders. The best part is that they don't make them until you order to guarantee they're freshly-made. I usually eat chicken tenders plain but I actually enjoy their honey mustard dipping sauce.

After that it was off to the theater for Money in the Bank. I wore my Sheamus shirt because I'm going to support him no matter what direction he goes. I felt like the cage match part of the main event was actually pretty good, and Sheamus seemed to outwrestle Cena. Some people disagree with me about that, but I just notice Cena still after all these years hesitating (and hiding it by throwing a punch) every now and then. When he's in there with a guy like Sheamus, who seems to hesitate much less, it really shows. The Nexus interference was expected, and that's really where things got disappointing for me. I was expecting there to be more of an impact made, but all we really got was Sheamus scurrying away with a fluke win while Cena stared in pissed-off confusion (which is exactly what happened last month). Plus 4 of the Nexus guys chased after Sheamus, even though no camera followed them. Whether they finally caught up with him or he made some type of getaway, I feel like it would have been more entertaining than seeing Cena beat up Young and Tarver.

  1. If you would stop masturbating so much, your wrists would be fine.

I love the Rhetoric reference! I think I need to rehire him to throw Ozzy Lions through a glass door before our Starrcade match.

Sounds like you have some pretty good food over in Rome! We don't have Hardee's here. There are actually a lot of chains we're missing here in Lafayette, some of which I got the chance to visit in Houston and Phoenix, including Jack in the Box and In-N-Out. Perhaps we can make a visit to Atmosphere during the Mania trip next year.

I wish we had theatres showing WWE PPVs here. I'm not a Sheamus fan though. He's getting better in general, but he really shouldn't have ever been WWE Champion at this point. I pretty much feel the same way about him becoming champion as I did with JBL.

Sheamus used to seem really lost in the ring, like in his Royal Rumble match with Orton, but he's gained a lot more confidence in his spot. I've never really noticed the hesitating thing you mentioned with Cena, but his matches don't always flow as smoothly as they should. But he is underrated for his ability to deliver in a big match situation, something which I don't think Sheamus always does as much.

I can't really comment on Money in the Bank, since I didn't see it. RAW was pretty good though, with an awesome ending. I am now pumped for that 7-on-7 at SummerSlam!
